Final followup closure: only one documentation line added, explicitly stating that periodic mode does not apply wall/slot boundary fields. Numerical code, helper, defaults, tolerances and tests are unchanged.
Full test_refinement_followup.py invoked once without selectors, via real production compilation. 7 tests passed (4 CPU guards, 3 GPU cases), exit0. stdout.txt is the unmodified merged stdout/stderr stream directly redirected from the test process, not reconstructed text.
GPU cases: periodic nonequilibrium seed1 eight steps max_population=1.67235548e-7; rectangular one step=1.14050047e-7; slot/reservoir eight steps=1.78241457e-7 and max_BC_error=2.21654773e-7. No other numerical cases/matrices rerun.
Fresh device UUID, utilization, VRAM, compute-apps and available RAM captured before launch in before.json. Command/environment/exit/resource samples in results.json; no fixed RSS cap or precompilation bypass. PYTHONPATH explicitly selects /home/frank14f/CelerisLab/src.
Unmodified actual helper copied byte-for-byte to planar_velocity.cuh; hashes in planar_velocity.sha256. No BC source edits.
Combined temporary files plus existing refinement evidence peaked at 1,864,916 bytes (below 2,000,000,000). Own temporary compilation tree, baseline copy and runner removed after final diff. Prior dirty tree and historical evidence retained. No DynamisLab, dependency/environment/system edits, commit or push.
Short correctness coverage only: nozzle remains coarse; no new steady jet, convergence or open-domain global flux balance claim.
